The digital age enables property-industry players to network more closely with their customers, business partners and employees as well as to simplify business processes and extend their service offering. But all of this also increases the complexity of their IT and places high demands on security, thus presenting many companies that operate their hardware and software in-house with major challenges.

With its digital solution portfolio Aareon Smart World from the exclusive Aareon Cloud – a service that is already used by many customers throughout Europe – Aareon offers a future-proof alternative. Aareon Cloud is operated in line with the particularly strict German data protection guidelines at the Aareon IT Service Centre in Mainz as well as a backup centre in Wiesbaden and regularly receives multiple certifications.

The security and integrity of customer data is guaranteed during round-the-clock operation, with a team of over 100 employees supporting the IT and applications of our customers.

On the safe side

Aareon operates an IT Service Centre where sensitive customer data is processed – and has been doing so for decades. From there, we also offer cloud computing in compliance with high security standards. The operations at our Aareon IT Service Centre are regularly examined for compliance with the PS 951 auditing standard of the Institute of Public Auditors in Germany (IDW) and meet all the requirements for a highly fail-safe infrastructure. The Aareon IT Service Centre is certified by TÜV Saarland technical inspection agency as a "Certified Computer Centre – Fail safe level 4".

All the data remains within German borders. Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art security solutions that follow the recommendations of the Federal Office for Information Security, the data at Aareon is protected against loss, criminal intrusion from the outside or unauthorised copying due to security loopholes, for example.

Furthermore, small and medium-sized companies, in particular, can increase their security standards by using services from the Aareon Cloud and are on the safe side vis-à-vis supervisory bodies and auditors.

Since 2010, Aareon has voluntarily submitted to regular external data-protection audits. In 2019, TÜV Rheinland certified Aareon as a “service provider with audited data protection management”. Annual supervisory audits are carried out by TÜV Rheinland. Aareon's information security management is certified in accordance with the internationally recognised ISO/IEC 27001:2013. Supervisory audits for the information security management are also carried out annually.
