Terms of Use

1. Table of contents

Aareon has carefully checked the contents of its own web pages - with the exception of third-party entries (e.g. in forums, guest books or mailing lists) - before publication. However, it shall not be held liable for their accuracy, completeness, up-to-dateness or suitability for the purpose pursued by the user. Aareon reserves the right to modify, supplement, delete, partially or completely, temporarily or permanently, the web pages and/or their contents at any time and without prior notice.

2. Copyright

Aareon or the respective authors retain all rights to the web pages as well as to the content and works published therein (e.g. texts, images, photos, graphics, videos, sounds, animations). All works are subject to copyright and other laws on the protection of the intellectual property. The use of these works requires the agreement (prior consent) of the respective rightsholder, with the exclusion of the cases specified in the German Act on Copyright and Related Rights (Urheberrechtsgesetz).

Provision of the web pages does not grant any rights or licences to the content or works therein.

3. Right of Name and Trademark

The web pages may contain names and trademarks. Names and trademarks are protected by law. Names and trademarks are the exclusive rights of the respective owner. The use of these names and trademarks requires the agreement (prior consent) of the respective rightsholder. No rights or licences shall be deemed granted by the publication of names and trademarks on the web pages.

4. Links

The web pages may contain links to third parties’ offers (e.g. websites, online services), on which Aareon has no influence and no control. For this reason, Aareon hereby expressly distances itself from these offers and their content, which may be accessed via the Aareon’s web pages.

5. Third party entries

Aareon’s web pages may contain, for example, forums, guest books and mailing lists in which third parties may make entries. Despite appropriate checks, it is not possible to exclude third parties’ misuse and entries having illegal or immoral contents. For this reason, Aareon hereby expressly distances itself from this content entered by third parties.

6. Liability

Aareon’s liability for personal injury, for damage caused wilfully or by gross negligence and - in case of contract concluded between Aareon and the user in connection with the use of Aareon’s web pages - for damage resulting from the breach of a material contractual obligation (material obligation, Kardinalpflicht), as well as product liability shall be governed by the statutory provisions. Material obligations are those obligations whose fulfilment is essential for the proper performance of the contract and on whose compliance the contracting partner may usually rely. Otherwise, Aareon’s liability shall be excluded. This exclusion of liability also applies to persons acting on behalf of Aareon.

7. Applicable Law an Jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall exclusively apply to the web pages of Aareon AG and the use thereof. In the event of disputes arising in connection with Aareon’s web pages, the place of jurisdiction is Mainz (Germany).
