Aareon acquires Munich proptech company wohnungshelden GmbH
Aareon is driving forward its growth strategy by acquiring the proptech company wohnungshelden GmbH, which specialises in digital housing brokerage. The acquisition further expands Aareon’s position as a leading software company for the European property industry.
Mainz, 23 August 2021 – Aareon, Europe’s leading property software company, signed an agreement on 10 August 2021 to acquire one hundred per cent of the shares in wohnungshelden GmbH, Munich. Through this acquisition, Aareon is continuing its growth trajectory by adding a digital housing brokerage solution to its product portfolio in Germany.
wohnungshelden GmbH offers a software solution that enables housing companies to digitalise their entire lettings process: from marketing a property through managing prospective tenants and appointments to concluding the contract. Customers of wohnungshelden who already use wohnungshelden solution are owning more than 750,000 residential units. Many public, private and church-run housing companies as well as cooperatives rely on the fully integrated solution, which ensures a fair, transparent and efficient letting process.
