Dirk Schilling appointed Chief Financial Officer at Aareon
Dirk Schilling will become Chief Financial Officer at Aareon as of 1 April 2023. He was previously announced as interim CFO to succeed Christian M. Schmahl.
Mainz, 23 March 2023 – Dirk Schilling (55) will become Chief Financial Officer at Aareon, the leading provider of SaaS solutions for the European property industry, on 1 April 2023. The Aareon Supervisory Board has now permanently confirmed Dirk Schilling, who had already been announced as interim CFO, as a new member of the Management Board. He succeeds Christian M. Schmahl, who will retire from operational business on 31 March 2023.
Commenting on the appointment of Dirk Schilling as CFO, Aareon CEO Harry Thomsen said: "I am very pleased that Dirk Schilling, with his financial expertise and experience in the software industry, will strengthen our Management Board team as CFO. Dirk Schilling was most recently CFO of Serrala Group, a global software provider for automated financial processes and B2B payments, for more than five years, where he was also responsible for the HR and legal departments. Prior to that, he worked for various companies, including as CFO at Alltours.
