Aareon acquires ERP provider GAP-Group
The Aareon Group is strengthening its market position by acquiring GAP-Group, one of the largest providers of software for the housing industry on the German market.
Mainz, 11 October 2021 – Aareon AG, Europe’s leading provider of property software, signed an agreement on 10 October 2021 to acquire one hundred per cent of the shares in GAP Gesellschaft für Anwenderprogramme und Organisationsberatung mbH (“GAP-Group”). This acquisition strengthens the Aareon Group’s market position in Germany and enlarges its product portfolio by adding the industry-specific ERP software immotion.
GAP-Group has been amongst the leading providers of enterprise software for the housing industry for more than 40 years. The company’s clients include public and private housing companies as well as cooperatives and property managers.

GAP-Group will continue to have an independent market presence under the umbrella of the Aareon Group.
